The Hallertau Band News

Introducing Bill Moon. Moon was a 13 yr old Floridian when he began banging on the drums inadvertently keeping dinosaurs away from the village.   He moved to upstate NY at 25 and had years of experience with bands such as Thom Piano Project and Live Without Annette.  Long time friend Tad Holtz roped Moon into the band in January 2013.

Moon speaks about The Hallertau band….  How can old guys be new guys?

"I was only going to guest on a few numbers needing congas, but these cats killed me from the first notes.  Locking in with a wiz kid like Blair on drums, all the guys actually, just sends the cosmic groove factor (yes, this is an actual phenomenon) into overdrive.

My life and my religion are music, all types, as long as it's somewhat melodic and structured, and created by real people playing real instruments and using their real voices.  Drums and percussion have always been in my blood, a few years of piano lessons as a kid didn't sway me from that path. This band is the real deal, check us out!"
